The plugin does not have a valid header

    After installing this plugin, I click on “Activate” and got the error message below.

    The plugin does not have a valid header.

    Why did this happen? And how do I resolve it?
    Please advise. Thank you.

    I uploaded the plugin’s downloaded ZIP file via FTP, and unzipped from within. Then it was activated in wp-admin, and it was fine.

    Looks like installing the plugin in wp-admin, and activating it may have lead to the problem.
