Currently the plugin does not allow as many characters as Twitter, consequently the text of some of the tweets created on my sites with this plugin, have been cut. Thank you for resolving the issue.

    Hi @josezabaleta

If you add in a twitter username in the settings, and then choose to include that user name in the tweet, it will subtract that amount of characters from the text. Additionally, if you include a URL to go back to the site, it will include that in the tweet, and subrtract from the total characters in the tweet.

I just tested, and this functionality is working as expected.

If you want the full 280 characters, be sure to select to NOT send the username in the tweet, and NOT send the URL in the tweet. You can do that within the block settings, if you’re using the block editor, or via shortcode attributes if you are using the classic editor. Check out this power user guide for more on how to do that: https://benlikes.us/7r

Let me know if I can help further!

Thanke Ben… As you can see, the following tweet can be published on Twitter:

Tras la caída de la URSS, un ruso le dice a otro: ‘?Te das cuenta? Todo lo que nos contaron sobre el #Comunismo era mentira’. ‘Eso no es lo peor’, responde el amigo… ‘Lo peor es que todo lo que nos contaron sobre el #Capitalismo era verdad’. [ redundant link removed ]

However, the plugin trims the tweet, as you can see at [ redundant link removed ]

This article was created a long time ago, and the plugin was not clipping the tweet… A few days ago I noticed that this and other long tweets have been clipped by the plugin.

    Thanke

Hi… This issue occurs on one of my sites, but the plugin works correctly on another of my sites. What could be the reason? Thanke…

I discovered that the incident was caused by a code I added to remove the lazy load in the first image of the pages… Curious…
