    The plugin did not remove the information. The widget to disable did not appear in the settings.

    Hi,

    The plugin isn’t compatible with that theme … yet. Is this the theme you are using?

    Let me know and I’ll add support for it.

    Hi,

    Please add this to “Customizer – Additional CSS” …

    #colophon {
    	display: none;
    }

    If this works we will add support for the plugin so that you can inject widgets instead of just hiding the footer area.

    Plugin is not needed in this case? Can be disabled?

    It can but we will add support for the theme to the plugin which will allow you to add Widgets to the footer bar instead when done.

    Will update this thread when that’s finished.

    I understand. Thank you. I’ll turn it off, but I won’t delete it.

    We have added support today for Envo Shopper. You can even add your own widgets to the Site Info widget area should you wish instead of just removing the footer area.

    Please update to the latest version and let me know if it works OK for you.

    The plugin works better than the above CSS because it completely removes the HTML from the footer if all you want to do is remove it.
