The plugin creates a very large volume of cache

The plugin performs very well in terms of page load time. However, after a very short use of 2 weeks, the plugin created a huge cache volume of almost 2 GB. I can’t figure out how much the cache will grow but now I’m having trouble backing up the site. I can no longer archive wp-content/cache/seraphinite-accelerator because the process takes too long.
Or is there a solution to reduce the volume of this cache?
