The plugin changes my url when cookies are not all accepted, why?

Hello!
I installed Pressidium cookie a few weeks ago (with integration with Tag Manager). And I noticed when we only accepted necessary cookies, it changed the URL in the search bar.
Systematically this displays text with “_gl=“, “_ga*” and “_ga“.
For example on a classic url this gives: example.com/?gl=[data]_ga*[data]_ga[data]
I see this is about Analytics cookies, but I don’t understand why this is showing, if it’s a bug or no, or what it’s for.
Can you help me?

This is likely a result of the URL passthrough feature of GCM (Google Consent Mode), which passes information in URLs. An optional feature, this can be used to send event and session-based analytics across pages without cookies.
If you prefer not to have information appended to your URLs, you can disable this feature by unchecking the “URL passthrough” checkbox when configuring the Pressidium Cookie Consent tag in Tag Manager.
