I have installed simple press on my site but when I activate, it says : “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.” and the fatal error is : “Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/collabor8.life/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6286”. How this specific problem can be solved?

    Hello:

It sounds like there might be a conflict with another plugin or you’re trying to install it on a multisite version of WP. Or it could just be that the host isn’t providing enough cpu resources.

Are there any additional messages being shown in your debug.log file?

    Thanks.

Yes, I am using multi-site network. There is no additional messages. I also have bought premium license for the plugin, but it is not activating on my site.

    Hi:

The plugin can only be activated on regular WordPress sites – it cannot be activated on a networked site.

    Thanks.

PS: Since you have a premium license you can use our private forums for support if you wish.

Why? I have read it supports both regular and network sites. Anyways just one more question, Will premium version supports network site?

If yes, then how I can add it?

Hi – neither free nor premium will work on a multisite network. There is new code already committed in the github repository to support a multisite network but it’s not released yet. You can grab the files from there if you like and try it out. If you do, make sure you grab the dev branch and not the master branch: https://github.com/Simple-Press/simple-press/tree/dev.

    Thanks.

Closing this thread because a new one was opened on our site. Don’t need to be duplicating responses.
