    When active my website cannot be edited. I have to deactivate this plugin, make edits, then reactivate.

    Sorry to hear that you are in trouble using the plugin.
    Could you please confirm which version of the plugin are you using.
    We have fixed the issue in our latest update – v1.1.83.
