The permalink bug-resolved?

Related to the issue, blogged about here: https://alexrabe.de/2011/06/18/rewrite-rules/

Is the issue resolved? I’m using the /%postname%/ structure and when I activate the permalink option in the plugin every click on a gallery-link ends in the /gallery-page.
