I recently completed building a site using MAMP as a local server. After completion, I moved the files and my database onto my server. After replacing all of the old URLs in the database, I receive the message that “the page isn’t redirecting properly” on Firefox. I know the cookies setting is right, as well. Also, I can no longer log in to my dashboard to edit any information.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I would really hate to have to start from scratch.

    Thanks

    Hi,
I have the same issue. There should be something wrong in the database but can’t find what.

Also I’m using Dreamhost and usually each domain have their own folder on the server. This time I didn’t do the one-click-install so maybe when I imported the Database manually I should add something to say that the website is in the FOLDER.

To verify I installed the website on the same domain with one-click-install, than I just uploaded the wp-content folder and only once I deleted all tables in the database and replaced them with my own ones I couldn’t access to the site anymore and can’t login to the admin
