@divithemeexamples We have checked the source code of the page in question and confirmed that no og:image tag is being output. If you clear your cache (server, plugin, or CDN such as Cloudflare) does this resolve the issue? If you are not sure how to clear your server cache you should speak with your host provider.

i didnt have an image in the posts. just a featured image for the blog page, and one that i added within yoast social sharing…. clearing cahes didnt help

i added an image to the posts which now shows

but the one set in yoast sharing does not show…

Could you please update to Yoast SEO v7.4.1 and can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:

1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
2. Check for conflicts.
3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.

It’s expected that if you didn’t set the og:image tag in the Facebook tab specifically, it should pick up the one set in SEO > Social, or the featured image, or an image from the post. If you perform the conflict check and the issue occurs that there is still no og:image tag, we expect this to be a bug. same issue here. Seems to be a bug…..still in v7.4.1

the image was set in yoast sharing for fb but wasnt being picked up. caches cleared etc

there was no image within the posts, and now have added and it shows up, but the image set in yoast which should override it doesnt…

After further investigation with this issue using Yoast SEO v7.4, when a featured image is too large, we attempt to fall back to a more suitable size. It appears that there may be scenarios where this is failing, and as a result, the og:image tag is not output.

Same problem here….the featured picture not showing on FB and Google+. I cleared the cache, I upload the photo url on seo social in the post…nothing…..pics not showing when I try to share.

i added an image in the yoast social settings of 800x600px and it works now… but yes, a bug that should take the featured image and crop if necessary. hipefully a fix is on the way

Same issue here and its still not fixed in 7.4.2

It was all working in version 7.2

We have released the Yoast SEO v7.4.2 which comes with this fix. However, if the issue persists on v7.4.2, we recommend you please submit more information directly to the relevant GitHub issue here and how to reproduce it on our end so our developers can investigate this further.

I just updated to 7.4.2 and it works on all shared posts except the last one. What could it be the problem?

FB pics the header photo instead of featured photo ad Google+ takes no photo, only title

anyway The Google+ share is now working….Facebook still the same thing….it takes always the header pic instead of featured photo from the post. And I always use the same size of the photos. Why is there a problem only with the last post?

In order to better assist you, we’ll need more information. When you say you’re experiencing the issue with the last post only, did you mean the most recent post or the most older post?
