    Greeting. After the last Site Kit upgrade, the number of visits dropped from 100% to 5%. Users still visit the website and this is visible in the analytics (real time), but it is not recorded. It is interesting that the income from advertising is the same as before, which would not be possible if the number of visits was so much lower. Any ideas?

    Hello @darkonelson thanks for getting in touch. When checking your website I can see that you have the consent mode option enabled.

    I can also see that you are using a cookie banner plugin but I am unable to see with what plugin this is with. If it is not one of the 2 recommended for Site Kit when using consent mode then we would suggest using one of these instead as they have been tested with Site Kit. You can see the two recommended plugins and steps on how to configure these with consent mode in our guide?here.

    You will also need to have the?WP Consent API?plugin installed and active on your site. To use consent mode with Site Kit this plugin is a requirement and standardizes the communication of accepted consent categories between plugins. You can read more on this?here.

    Without everything configured as explained in the?guide?I have shared with you, data will not be tracked for visitors to your site. Please ensure you read through the guide and check that everything is configured as it should be and once it is you should start to see EU/EEA traffic start to be tracked for your site.
