If security is adguard, uBlock origin is enabled. Realtime on google analytics doesn’t work. Very annoying, can you hide this link (google-analytics.com) from security adguard, uBlock etc. This problem does not happen to my site, all sites using google analytics tracker will be blocked.

I’m not sure I understand. The plugin does only one thing: adds the GA tracking code to your pages. It does not do anything else.

That in mind, please help me to understand how I can help here. I am glad to provide any information that is necessary.

    Hi @specialk

In essence, if you manage to create a special code to hide the google-analytics.com link then security like adguard and others will not work or will no longer block google analytics in realtime.

I’m just trying to figure out how any of that has anything to do with the plugin? Like for example what is google-analytics.com? Where is that coming from? It’s not anything related to the plugin. Also not sure what “adguard” is, but again it’s not something that the plugin has anything to do with.

I’m telling you that your plugin or any other plugin related to Google Analytics will not work if the user uses the adGuard adBlocker extension. You can test it in your google chrome browser and add adGuard adBlocker extension and enable adguard settings, phishing and malware protection.

And do a test on your website and see real time google analytics in your browser then check there.

Okay I think I understand now.. so is there some way of resolving the issue from the plugin side of things? I don’t know how any of the GA code could be conditionally displayed based on browser/extension configuration?

No, I hope that in your next update plugin there will be a new feature that can protect this realtime from adguard trackers. Thank you for your feedback, I appreciate any help you provide.
