The notorious Facebook thumbnail issue please help
-
For some reason, Facebook wants to choose the worst picture for my thumbnails. I have tried a plugin that is suppose to direct it to the feature image for the post (Facebook thumb fixer), but it is still not working.
I don’t know what else to do. Here is the Facebook debugger log.
og:image was not defined, could not be downloaded or was not big enough. Please define a chosen image using the og:image metatag, and use an image that’s at least 200x200px and is accessible from Facebook. Image ‘https://www.realitymelt.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/IMG_0433-copy-1024×700.jpg’ will be used instead. Consult https://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/webmasters/crawler for more troubleshooting tips.
The image is at least more than 200×200 so I don’t know what can be causing the problem.
In the og:image it shows the correct featured picture, but the thumbnail still ends up being a different photo on the page.
Here is the page I am using as an example, but the problem persists with all of them.
