The Newsletter goes to the spam folder

Hi there.

How many emails are you sending out at a time, and at what intervals?

Exceeding limits can mark your mails as spam. We strongly recommend following your host’s guidelines ??

Maybe I haven’t been clear enough..
So, with the setting “wordpress mail” the newsletters go to the spam folder.
Also who subscribes on the website gets the confirmation email in the folder.
So it’s a big problem and how can I solve it?

I can’t set the SMTP of my hosting as it doesn’t give the option of massive emails.

How can I send the confirmation of the subscription to the newsletter avoiding it goes to the spam?
And I can I avoid the newsletters go to the spam?
Gmail sees the Sola Newsletters as spam.

I understand what you mean.

How many emails are you sending out, at what intervals though? The mailboxes may pick it up as spam as wp_mail uses your server’s email address (Usually [email protected]) to send the mail. It then just replaces the email’s headers with your specified From name and address.

For now I have just sent single trial (or tester) newsletter to addresses that
I had on my address book but they arrive directly into the spam box.
The problem is that also new people registering to the newsletter of the site receives their confirmation of registration in the spam box of gmail.

Do you think that using this service, SMTP

instead of the WordPress mail service, this problem can be overcome and that the newsletters and the registration notices can arrive to the right box of the incoming mail..?

My sincerest apologies for the delay in communication.

Sending newsletters using WP Mail uses your server’s email host. When using SMTP, a different host, sender name and email address are used, which will usually prevent your mails from being sent to user’s spam folders as its a more ‘trusted’ method online.

I’d recommend sending your mails using SMTP and trying again (This can be done by going to ‘Newsletters’ -> ‘Settings’)

I’m saying this: my hosting doesn’t support the dispatch via smtp with email more than 1 per hour and for me isn’t enough.

I’ve got 2500 subscribers, so the dispatch of the newsletter with my hosting’s smtp is too slow.

So, my main problem is that who subscribe to the newsletter then gets the confirmation email directly in the spam folder.

For these reasons I was asking you if this smtp service:

Really, the developer has made this pretty clear. The limitation is built into WordPress, as it was never designed to be a mass-email sender. Look at Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor as a solution.

There are 3 methods of sending emails with Nifty Newsletters.

1) WordPress Mail
2) SMTP
3) Gmail (via SMTP)

Items 2 and 3 make use of a class called PHPMailer which allows you to connect to an SMTP server and should have NO limitations from your host as they are connecting to an SMTP server and not sending mails via your hosting package (unless you are using your hosting package’s SMTP server).

Item 1 is the only item that your host will have an issue sending mass emails with as this uses your server to send the emails and therefore the limitations will apply.

With regards to your question using serversmtp, this should work well. We also suggest looking at Amazon’s AWS to send emails. We have successfully sent 10’s of thousands of emails via that SMTP server with our plugin without any issues.

1) WordPress Mail … the newsletter go in spam. Also subscribe to the newsletter then gets the confirmation e-mail directly into the spam folder.
