Can you tell us what thumb dimensions (width and height) you have set?

And what is the happened with that dimensions after the update?

Sorry and we want to help

So sorry that I missed this. Dimensions were set at 215×150. I tried many different sizes. The behavior was always the same. The left and right side cropped out, leaving only a vertical image about 50-60 pixels wide. I even tried uploading a new thumbnail. I was able to roll back to an earlier plugin version and that fixed the problem.

    We can’t reproduce it.
Can you send us your site’s Url, if you want you can send a message to https://tiptoppress.com/contact/

May there is a CSS selector from your used Theme which is not very friendly to our CSS code.

I just sent in a message about this with a screenshot. Local environment I can duplicate the problem. Looking at classes now.

By adding width (215px) to a [.cat-post-thumbnail .cat-post-crop] style in child theme style, this forced the correct size. There is a conflict, but it is hard to determine exactly from where. Previously “.cat-post-thumbnail .cat-post-crop” had not been included in any style in the child theme or parent theme. This particular thumbnail is always max 215 anywhere it appears on site, no matter the responsive. So, this solution seems to be okay.
