The new update broke wordpress email

    Hi,
    this is not the first time the update of this plug in made something in WordPress stop to work well so I Decide to remove and not put again this plug in.

    After the new update my website start to send email without spaces so all text are without spaces and wrap text.

    I am using Wordfence plug in so when i logged and receved the notification email was aware email was broken after the NetStat update.

    I suggest to solve or check the code and test well before relase an update who create issue in wordpress email.

    I have now removed the plug in in all website and issue solved. Issue is on this plug in and in the new update.

    Hi,
    Sorry to hear that, but the plugin is tested by ice00 and myself for 2 weeks without major problems observed as you described. One problem with plugin is compatibility with WP and other plugins. With NewStatPress the email function was not touched. Maybe the conflict is coming from the plugin you are using!? Could you send us the version of the plugin you’re using please? And maybe a screenshot of the email result?
    For now, if you consider the trouble too heavy, you can just back to 1.1.3 version of NewStatPress

    thank you for your reply.

    From what I can see the last update of NewStatPress has introduced the support of email reports.

    After that update who has showed some notification on the top of WordPress with some messages (not error message) my security plug in WordFence stopped to work well.

    When I log in into WordPress the Wordfence send me a notification email.
    Wordfence > Options > alert me when an admin log in.

    After the update of NewStatPress the email sent with the log in details was without text wrap.

    you can send information at email newstatpress at altervista.org if you have some screenshot to send us for helping to resolve the issues.

    I just check now my site with Wordfence plug as you but I did not get informaion of broken email, so I think of a sort of conflich with other plugins, but we need more information for resolving it.

    If you had not abilitate the email notification in Newstatpress, it should be like before, unless some conflicts (it was happened in the past with a plugin that changes standard wordpress right for users and so Newstatpress did not work as expected with users with less priviledge, but thanks to people reporting it we fix allowing NewStatpress to recognise that modified right).

    note:
    actually I test modifications in 12 sites (11 online and 1 offline). 3 of this have in average 10000 to 25000 unique visitors at month, so the DB is now very big and is a good testing enviroment.

    Unfortunately 12 sites onto 60000 installations cannot cover all user enviroments, so issue can happen.

    Hi ice00,
    thank you for your kind and complete message.

    I have no activated email report on Newstatpress. Just after update wordfence stop to send correcttly email alert. After removing the Newstatpress all is back working fine.. so difficolut think can’t be Newstatpress cause of this issue.

    In my case I have solved now, not need continue to have stats plugin for now.
