    The new image could not be created – skipping thumb creation for this file: ../wp-content/photos/pool/reg/4.jpg

    this is my error message, when I try to create my galery.

    When you get this only for one pic it sounds like this image is corrupt.

    what is it, and how can I fix the problem?

    That’s the php library used to create the thumbnails. Check, that it is installed properly and version is higher than 2.
