The Best WordPress Forms Plugin

  • Forminator is the best WordPress forms plugin.

    Before getting to the “good stuff” here are two issues I find to be glaring because they have been around for years and have not been added to any of the updates:

    1. No field masking features. (Ouch!!!)
    2. No “Password” field. (Really!?)

    For some time Contact Form 7 has ruled as the best WordPress forms plugin with its flexibility (in the form of a bunch of other add-on plugins), though it was never easy-to-use. Enter Forminator. Forminator has moved quickly to fill the void for a forms plugin that’s highly flexible, full-featured, and easy-to-use. Use Forminator to create contact forms, surveys, quizzes, polls, calculations and more. It’s remarkable success is due in no small part to it’s solid design, and a decision to release it as a free plugin (even though it has seriously premium features). And now you can import Contact Form 7 forms too.

    The best thing about Forminator is it comes with a full set of powerful features, and it’s easy-to-use. There’s not much it won’t do. And it has a beautifully designed interface that makes using complex features like custom field validation, accepting payments, conditional logic, and creating autoresponder emails easy. This is a free plugin that is as good or better than a bunch of the leading premium forms plugins.

    Forminator has flaws. As I mentioned at the top: No “Password” field (Really!?), No Field Mask features (for telephone field formatting, etc.), and no Views feature to create listings are a few needed features. That said, I love Forminator. Support is responsive and helpful, and both the knowledge base and community supporting the plugin are growing.

    Bottom line… give Forminator a try.

    That is such a nice review! Thank you for taking the time to write it and vote for Forminator.

    I want to confirm that the masks for fields are already on the features list for the plugin, but could you tell me more about “views to create listings”? What exactly that should do?
