    Hello,

I would like to have some help with the WordPress Site Kit by Google plugin. When I try to verify the property of my website its showing me the following error message:

The necessary verification token could not be found on your site. This may be related to your site using a page caching plugin. Please flush your home page cache and then try again.

I’ve tried different browsers (Chrome and Edge), incognito mode and nothing happened. I’ve purged cache in Cloudflare, deactivated it and also deleted cache in WP Super Cache plugin and I also deactivated it. After posting this I’ll send the form with Site Health Information.

I am running Ubuntu 22 with Apache on a private server.

    Thank you in advance!

    Best regards.

Thanks for reaching out @bunshinon. From checking your site I can see that there may be some blocking controls on it. As Site Kit users Search Console to verify site ownership, a site must be fully accessible in order to be able to verify ownership.

One workaround is to verify their site via DNS?using a domain type property. Otherwise, you can remove any blocks to your site and ensure it’s freely available. After doing so, please attempt to set up Site Kit once more.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

OMG you were very right! I had WAF rules in Cloudflare only allowing traffic from specific countries. After disabling it the check was OK. Many thanks!
