It’s here! After nearly two years, the new (and completely re-written) MailPoet plugin is finally ready to use!

This new version is still in beta. As such, please be aware that there will be issues and bugs. For now, we highly recommend that only power users install the new beta plugin.

The new version of MailPoet is completely separate from the old version. As a result, the beta has its own page in the WordPress plugin repository. You can also try the beta demo.

DO NOT USE THIS TOPIC TO POST FEEDBACK OR REPORT ANY PROBLEMS!

If you want to provide us feedback or report any problems, there’s a separate forum for that here.

    Hello there,

I am testing the Mail poet 3.0.0-beta.2 version.

The script calls for the forms are still on the ‘/wysija-newsletters/’ directory while the main plugins directory has changed to ‘/mailpoet/’.
This prevents any e-mail from being added from the website to the mailing lists and gives an “invalid request” – 401 unauthorized ajax call result.

    Thanks a lot
    Charles

    Hello,
What is the anticipated timeline for 3.0 release? I understand things change and beta testing may change the plans, etc. But is there a ballpark estimate for its possible release?

Also, what is expected upgrade cost for 2.x premium users?
    Thank you

Hey! Release in March 2017 at earliest.

Pricing won’t change for pretty much the same feature set. The Premium plugin hasn’t been release in beta yet.

This said, we have a few Premium users that are already on the MailPoet 3 beta. ??

I am having major problems with MailPoet Version: 2.7.5. When I send Newsletters Mailpoet indicates that it has been sent to all subscribers. Also, Export of lists is not working. I have done some testing using the trial version that seems to solve my current problems.

I would like to try Version 3 for real if I can easily copy current subscribers to the new version. Is that possible?

Ive been a Mailpoet user for 39 weeks on https://www.JITLA.gold website and am very satisfied user. I would like to use it on my news site https://www.GLA.News. I have over 25,000 subscribers and I post about 10 to 20 new articles per day and looking to become a premium user. I want to switch from wordpress to your service and I noticed the upgraded 3.0 for power users and that it is in beta testing. In the process of seting up I was stopped from signing up and the reason for this letter for a premum power user. I would be very willing to send bug reports etc. Im standing by and would like to get something going soon… Thank you Michael

I like the new newsletter build design – looks great at the moment.
I do have one concern though. To appears the only way to insert posts with images is to have the image above or below – no way to make it left or right. While it makes it easier for email, the image alignment was a big reason I liked MailPoet…

Hello, I’m trying out the beta and I think it’s all very good.
However, I find that something is wrong.
With the previous version, I can integrate it perfectly with the BLOOM plugin (to design subscription forms), choosing “MailPoet” from an available list.
But the problem is that if I do this with the Beta version, Bloom tells me that I do not have MailPoet installed or that it is not activated.

Is there any way I can fix it?

    Greetings and thanks.

    Hi,

    I have installed MailPoet 3.00 Beta 21 and would like to uninstall it. I have tried the uninstall plugin but it seems for the old version as it tries to remove SQL tables with different name, such Wysija Drop query: DROP TABLEzone_wysija_user;
In the actual database I have table with this naming format: – zone_mailpoet_forms.

Could you please to provide the plugin to remove version 3.00 beta or instructions on how to remove it manually?

    platform: wordpress 4.7.2 + WC 2.6
    Thank you!

Is there any limitation for free mailpoet 3 beta?

I am considering to start using paid MailPoet, now I finally managed to get WordPress installed so added beta 3 straight away. WHen importing list of subsribers from MailChimp, I am getting some error. When checking the list, there are only 500 users imported (there are 1600 in original list in mailchimp). Coaccidence on 500 or some limitation?

Resolved – import from CSV managed them all. Maybe some limitation on Mailchimp API…

The beta is very good. I am getting an issue in which subscribers who already opted for the newsletter are still able to register again and again using the same confirmed email address. As a result, they can keep receiving newsletter confirmation emails repeatedly. I believe how it should work is the system will tell them their emails are already verified in the database.

    Please advise,

    Thanks,

    A
