The loopback request to your site failed

    I am dealing with a loopback request problem and the Health Check plugin points jigoshop e-commerce as responsible. My site goes down to wp/instal after some changes on products or after you browse some minutes in it.
    Here is the message from Health Check:
    Testing jigoshop-ecommerce: The loopback request to your site failed, this may prevent WP_Cron from working, along with theme and plugin editors.
    Error encountered: (0) cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

    My host provider is not allow loopback connections.
    Any solution to recommend?

    I have checked Jigoshop eCommerce on a test site of ours using the Health Check plugin – I did not run into the same issue as you have – could you provide us with a more detailed log / precise information on how or when the issue occurs?

    The issue occurs after version 4.9 WordPress update.

    Loopback request

    Result from testing without any plugins active and a default theme:
    The loopback request to your site failed, this may prevent WP_Cron from working, along with theme and plugin editors.
    Error encountered: (0) cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

    So the second result is from testing without Jigoshop eCommerce active?
