    Hi!

I’m a n00bie, so please bear with me here… I’m using K2 as a model to make my own theme, taking only the parts that I need so later on it will be easier to customize.

Here‘s how the loop looks like so far. Can you take a quick look and tell me where did I go wrong?

    Thanks,
    Roberto.

  • I’m no expert on php so I can’t advise on the code.
I can advise though that K2 is advanced, uses a lot of code, is still in beta and I’m sure even experienced designers would agree it is not a theme to start building from.
It’s good code – but only if you understand it’s intricacies.

Yeah, I know it’s not the easiest or simplest way of going about it, but that’s how I always learned how to do my stuff. I’m going through the code to see if all the while statements are good, but I thought I’d have a faster answer posting here.

Do you have a link to your progess so far? It’s difficult to find errors in code without seeing what it produces.

    Yup: here you go.

There are 2 posts in the blog, only the first one is showing. If you go to the permalink for that post the navigation bar finds the other, though.

    NEVERMIND!

Just found the problem. I had a lost “}” closing the while loop prematurely.

Roberto, I can’t believe how pretty that design is, it’s mouthwateringly lovely!
