"The Loop" – functions don't work in 4.3

    I have over 200 websites totally trashed by the 4.3 update.

    The following functions no longer work correctly in a variety of situations, neither with a vanilla default loop, or a custom wp_query object.

    the_permalink / get_the_permalink
    the_title / get_the_title
    the_excerpt / get_the_excerpt
    $post->ID

    All my sites use a static front page, and an internal blog home page (either page-blog.php or home.php). Every site now has archives in which every single post has the same title and URL.
