    Hello,

    I’m still having errors from w3 total cache.

    Even if I use an default wordpress theme like twenty twenty four and disable all plugins except w3 total cache, when I access any sub-menu of w3 plugin settings (browser cache or minify or whatever), whether or not I change existing settings and use “save settings”, I get the following error: “The link you followed has expired.”

    I installed Query Monitor and now the error “The link you followed has expired.” seems to be explained below by this message:

    This message was triggered by w3-total-cache.

    Call stack:

    1. wp_die()
      wp-includes/functions.php:3642
    2. wp_nonce_ays()
      wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/Generic_Plugin_Admin.php:131
    3. W3TC\Generic_Plugin_Admin->load()
      wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php:324
    4. do_action('load-performance_page_w3tc_browsercache')
      wp-admin/admin.php:237

    Query Monitor

    Please help.

    Hello @nicorel

    Thank you for reaching out!
    ?The front end admin bar links can become cached either by the plugin page cache if the user has caching enabled for admins or browser caching which will result in the links remaining with the old nonce even upon refresh. There is no fix for this behavior besides clearing both the page and browser caches after each login and then refreshing all windows with outdated links.?

    You can try disabling Browser cache, save all settings and purge the cache and see if this helps!

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    Hello @nicorel

    I was trying to replicate this problem and I was unable to do so. So it appears that this is related to the hosting environment and some server configuration.

    You can add those user agents in the /wp-content/w3tc-config/master.php file manually as this is the W3 Total Cache configuration file.

    Does the same issue occurs if you save all settings&purge the cache?

    Thanks!
