Hi @sarai09,
I hope you are doing well today!
If a link to a LinkedIn profile is showing as broken, but you’ve verified that it indeed leads to the correct profile when logged in, there are a few potential reasons for this discrepancy:
- LinkedIn Privacy Settings: LinkedIn has strict privacy settings that often require users to be logged in to view profiles. If someone tries to access a LinkedIn profile without being logged in, they might be redirected to a login page instead of the profile, making it seem like the link is broken.
- LinkedIn’s External Link Restrictions: LinkedIn might have restrictions on how their links are accessed from external sources. This could mean that links to profiles may not behave as expected when clicked from certain platforms or when monitored by certain tools (e.g., link validators or uptime monitors).
I suggest to use LinkedIn’s Share Profile Feature, instead of copying the URL directly from the browser, use the link generated by LinkedIn. This can sometimes avoid formatting and access issues.
You can also mark the link as Not Broken and ignore as you can confirm it is working and showing up your profile.
Kind regards,
Zafer
