Hi @market06,
Thanks for reaching out. First, please check to make sure there isn’t a space or any additional characters before or after the license key you pasted in.
If this doesn’t seem to be the problem, can you perform a full reinstall, removing the existing Wordfence tables, and try using a new license key please?? First, make a backup of your website. If you’ve configured any settings in Wordfence, go to Wordfence > Tools > Import/Export Options and use the Export Wordfence Options button. Save that string in order to restore your settings after the reinstall.
At that point, go to the Plugins area and deactivate Wordfence. Once you deactivate, a prompt will appear and you can use the bottom option to “Delete all Wordfence tables and data” and then click Deactivate. After that, delete the Wordfence plugin.? You can go to Add New Plugin at the top and search for and install Wordfence again. Activate it using a new license key. Once activated, go to Wordfence > Tools > Import/Export Options again and import your settings string.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Margaret
