    Hi,

    I wanted to test your gallery, since I’m already using one of your plugin (Media Renamer) which works great. This is the free version and, from what I understand, the tiled version should be available by default anyway.

    But when I check an existing gallery on one of the post, I get this message instead of the converted gallery : Meow Gallery: The layout mosaic is not available in this version.

    Why that ?

    Hi,

    Your message made me realized something ?? Actually, the Meow Gallery overrides the standard gallery, as you might know. However, it seems like you might have created galleries with another plugin also using the standard gallery (which is fine), but specifying a specific layout… called “mosaic”.

    This layout doesn’t exist in the Meow Gallery (at least, not under that name). I guess you are using a shortcode? If yes, can you modify the layout to “tiles”, or simply remove it?

    Interesting… I actually don’t remember creating this specific gallery using another gallery (from Jetpack) than the default one, or at least, I may just realized that I do have another plugin creating this ! My main problem( haven’t checked any other gallery yet) is that I have a lot of galleries, so replacing them manually is out of question…

    You can do a mass rename in your whole DB, based on your

    layout=’mosaic’

    . Also, we could force the mosaic to resolve to ’tiles’ in Meow Gallery and that would fix it. I am a bit busy with a few things right now, but I could provide a solution to do this automatically; Meow Gallery can be adapted for really any kind of case, so there is always a solution.

    Ok, I’ve found the culprit but it’s a bit annoying, have to contact them… (it’s Photonic Plugin which I use for Google Photo gallery, didn’t know it was overriding ALL galleries by default…)

    Merci bien !

    Didn’t see your answer, that would be interesting to have this solution. i’m also contacting people from the Photonic plugin to see if they can coexist (I use their plugin for Google Photo, using a specific shortcode, but the default function override the gallery shortcode, that’s why it’s using this “mosaic” layout…

    Well, been solved thanks to the other guy, I had to add a piece of code to avoid conflict with other plugin using the same shortcode and attribute structure.
    Thanks
