The latest update of this plugin has taken down two of my websites!!!

  • The latest update of this plugin has taken down two of my websites today!!!

    Don’t use the 1.5.2 update unless you have a full backup. Its a great plugin however I really don’t understand how Joost de Valk and his team can do release that take down a how website like what this update does. I’m also running the latest versions of WordPress on both websites 3.8.1

    Same here: site takedown.

    Updated plugin, and it took down a site to the point where we only saw blank white pages on front-end and admin areas. Deactivated all plugins (by changing plugins folder name), got back into admin, and reactivated them one by one. When we reactivated this SEO plugin, the site went down again.

    I will not be updating this plugin on any other site any time soon.
