Hello. In Google , there is a message about missing itemListElement field.

In the theme settings, I see that the “enable/disable” slider for micro markup is not working now. I am temporarily hiding it now using CSS as it is not working.

I have updated the theme to the latest version, disabled CSS hiding the micropartitioning, cleaned the cache, disabled the Yoast SEO plugin.

It constantly gives an error in the validator: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result?id=H03LJb049SRWEOjxJ4IJjQ

Please tell me. Is it possible to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

  • Hi @test033,

    Thanks for reaching us,

Can you please try once disabling the breadcrumb from the ColorMag theme and check if it helps you or not! Here is the link to disable the breadcrumb on the ColorMag theme – https://docs.themegrill.com/colormag/docs/manage-breadcrumb/

Let me know if this disabling the breadcrumb removes the error message or not, and I will get back to you.

    Hello.
Unfortunately, disabling the Breadcrumb slider – doesn’t change anything. The navigation path (Breadcrumb) does not disappear anywhere, even when disabled. I cleared the site and browser cache after disabling it.

That is, I have the impression that the Breadcrumb button does not work properly.

Also, I checked via Google tool that the message about itemListElement absence occurs only on the main page. I don’t see this problem on the Record pages.

    Hi @test033,

    Thanks for reaching back,

It seems to be an issue from the breadcrumb as with the latest version of the ColorMag theme, the breadcrumb doesnot gets disable even after diabling the option from the customizer area.

I have already informed the developer of this. Hopefully, they will fix the issue with the breadcrumb not disabling from the customizer issue. After the issue is fixed, you can check if the issue itemlistelement-field-is-missing gets fixed or not!

Let me know if you have any other confusion or issues and I will get back to you.

    Regards

    Hello,
I have the same problem. I’ve also tried to add Yoast seo breadcromb (which works but did not resolve the colormag problem), tried to delete the HTML code in wordpress and tried to modify it by adding an itemListElement like ListItem, but nothing stays. It always goes back to the wrong html code.
This is very ennoying. Have you got a solution by now?
    Thank you

What’s the update on this issue? It’s affecting the indexing of pages, needs to be fixed quickly

Friends, hello. I understand that you are focused primarily on premium customers and only last of all on the free version.

I just wanted to say that the problem is still relevant. It is still impossible to disable the navigation chain or get rid of the itemListElement error in Google Webmaster Console. Sharing the result of my last check: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result?id=8coLqeVrQ04Yp_TG3nA7Mg

And just in case I repeat that the problem with the error in Google console, is relevant only for the main page. For internal pages of records, everything works without an error: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result?id=tXAyf3rEifSCmL2GsEETxA.
    Maybe this will help you.

Hopefully, someday, this bug will be resolved. Thanks in advance.

It looks like with the 3.1.0 update, the problem has been fixed. Thank you. This topic is closed.
