The Instagram Authorisation token has expired – Log in

  • Using Version 1.3.5 with WordPress 5.7.

    I accidentally created a second Instagram account last week, and finally deleted it. I’m having trouble reconnecting my WordPress site to the correct Instagram site.

    After I try to connect WordPress and Instagram, I get two messages, with the second looking like it was added (in red) as an afterthought:

    Instagram Connected — You have successfully connected with your Instagram account.

    The Instagram Authorisation token has expired – Log in

    I’d be grateful for any help.

    I’ve removed the app from WordPress and Instagram, and then reinstalled them both. No change in the error message. I’d be grateful for help.
