The infamous ‘logged in users’ issue
-
I finally found out the conditions under which the “logged in users” section of the Stax Visibility for Elementor(Pro) plugin stops functioning. And happy to say it is not the plugin’s fault.
I use Swift performance Pro, and if a page with restricted content (based on logged in or not) is cached, then that functionality does not work anymore. Depending on how you use the settings, it will either show everything to everyone, or it will show nothing. As soon as the page is cleared from the cache, the functionality works again.
Unfortunately I can not have non-cached pages for logged in visitors because the loading takes too long. So I will start a conversation with Swift to see if there is a setting that can help, or maybe they can come up with a fix.
Meanwhile for the rest, I’m very happy with the visibility pro version, and use it a lot. Can recommend it to anyone.
