Hello? This post is now 3 weeks old; when can we expect an answer….?

There are many possible causes for the issue you’re describing. But it’s very likely this problem is solved in Yoast SEO 3.1. If you have a testing environment, can you please install Yoast SEO 3.1-RC3 to test if that is indeed the case.

If not, please create a full bug report on GitHub.

it seems to work Taco; THANKYOU!
When will this update go public?

Hi there, I have the same issue too – all my images have Alt tags, yet I get a message that SOME of them are missing. I am not doing anything different for the images that are ok, but somehow only some Alt tags are recognised by Yoast.

I see in the forums that this is an ongoing problem and I’m not the only one encountering it. Does anybody have a solution?

Taco, in your reply above you said that this problem should likely be solved on SEO 3.1. I’m using the latest version of WordPress and Yoast SEO (version 3.1.1).

    Thanks!

I’m using the NextGen Pro Gallery plugin and my Yoast SEO results always show the message: The images on this page are missing alt attributes.
I’ve entered all of the alt, keywords, captions, etc. from within the NextGen plugin. Is this a known issue with this gallery plugin that you’re aware of?

    Thank you!

    Hi:
    I have the same problema:
In all the images I have in each post I have the problema:
“The images on this page do not have alt attributes containing your focus keyword”

I have just updated today to the latest versión of Yoast SEO V3.2 and I also have the same problema.

    Please could someone help me????
    Thank you.

Been having this issue myself for the last few weeks with no support.

    Hello,

Same issue for me too…. I use the NextGen Pro galleries. I have the latest build of Yoast (updated 25th August 2016)

A bit like peeling layers off an onion trying to get to the bottom of the issue… I add Alt Tags in the field called “Tags” dialogue box – No joy the missing alt tags message remains…

I find on post that the error message will be generated if the focus keyword is not in the Alt Tags… so I add the focus keyword to some of the images and the error changes to:

“The images on this page do not have alt attributes containing the focus keyword.”

    Can’t win!

@stodds If you have a similar issue, please open a new request as this topic is about an old version.
