The images are not shown on mobile devices

    Hi,

    Suddenly the images disappeared from the mobile version on my site (only blank squares), but on desktop version I can see them. However, not all of them – only those which were posted via URL.

    Maybe there is a problem with the theme?

    I tried:
    – setting on and off mobile Jetpack,
    – setting on and off the simplified download of site’s pages (also Jetpack function)
    – Checked with the host, they can’t help.
    Nothing works so far…

    This issue isn’t related to the theme, but I can help you to debug.

    When I look at the site, I see all of the Featured Images displaying, but some images in the post content are missing. When I see a missing image, it is missing on both desktop and mobile. Here is a screenshot with some additional info about this error: https://pics.competethemes.com/b14aaaad7920

    What that shows is that the missing images are producing 403 errors and they seem to be coming from a Google domain. A 403 error means you’re not allowed to access the URL. Based on that, I’m guessing that the images are being added from a Google Photos album that doesn’t have the privacy set to “public.” That’s why you would see them on your computer when logged in to your Google account but not on your phone (if you’re not logged into Google) and why I don’t see them on either device.

    Hi Ben,

    Thank you for your advice! It really helped! I was suspicious about the google photos, but I couldn’t imagine several of my albums became private!
