About an hour ago the HTML editor started displaying white text on a white background, which as you might imagine is making editing particularly difficult, as I’m having to highlight everything to read it, and then guess where to edit from. The front end doesn’t appear to be affected. It’s behaving as if something has been removed or a setting has been altered. All pages and posts are affected.

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Thanks James

I tried returning to the thread to post an update, but you got to it first, as I don’t like wasting people’s time when something has happened.

Suffice to say (and I don’t why or how) the functionality has returned. I haven’t done anything to it. It simply came back?

I’m mildly fearful that there might be wider weakness and the issue won’t repeat, but for now at least I’m just putting it down to …. well I haven’t got a clue in truth

Awesome, well if it ever does come back, let us know! ??
