The home page of my site uses the last post as its title

    Hello,
    I’ve put the title I want to use into the Settings->General->Site Name as well as SimpleSEO->Home Page ->Default Title but the home page uses the title of the most recent post published. I’m using GeneratePress theme.
    And the thing is, the title I want to use (as well as description) is used in 

    <meta name="description"
<meta property="og:site_name"

    But for some strange reason, for homepage it uses data of 

    <meta property="og:url"
<meta property="og:type"

    of the last post.
    I’m using Schema.org and tried to disable it to see whether it changes anything, but to no effect.
    This is super strange, never had encountered this before.

    And pages 2, 3 and so on use title of the last post on that page…

    Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

    To confirm, the og:FIELD is or is not blank? Also, I see you are using Yoast SEO not Simple SEO. Do you have a development site with Simple SEO so I can see the issues?
