The Gutenberg Block does not display the actual post excerpt.

    This plugin having a custom Gutenberg block is a step forward. However, if you configure the block to show the post excerpts, it only picks up the content from the post content area, and totally ignores the text in the excerpt box. As a result, if your post starts with an image, or any non-text based block, nothing is displayed as far as the “excerpt” part is concerned.

    I can confirm the fix. Thanks a million for this great plugin, and even more, for your quick response, and fix. I’m glad I gave this plugin 5 stars, it deserves it !
