I have a question about the ‘GLOBAL MAX-WIDTH’ value in the Settings section of the GenerateBlocks. I was not able to find anything about this attribute in the documentation.

My question is that it seems the value added for GLOBAL MAX-WIDTH (e.g., 1100px) does not seem to have any effect on the blocks embedded on the site. I have already set the ‘contentSize’ and ‘wideSize’ values in the theme.json file.

I am confused as to whether the GB’s GLOBAL MAX-WIDTH is over-written by a wordpress theme.json file. And what is the purpose of the GLOBAL MAX-WIDTH.

Thanks for any clarity on this.

    Hi there,

If your theme does not set a content container width, you can set the global max-width at dashboard > GenerateBlocks > settings > GLOBAL MAX-WIDTH.

The global max width is automatically applied to inner containers if you use the Add inner container button to add the inner container.
