“The gallery was not found” after host migration
-
Hi there,
I am migrating one of my sites from a shared host over to Cloudways and running into an issue where the FooGallery plugin doesn’t seem to work as expected.Prior to migration/on the original site, everything works great. Used the Cloudways migrator plugin to copy over the site content and databases. On their temporary URL (https://wordpress-123456-1234567.cloudwaysapps.com), the galleries work as expected (there’s a browser ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID error that can be ignored as the site seems to load as expected).
However, when I switch my A record in Cloudflare DNS over to the new IP address and define the permanent domain in the Cloudways domain management page under the WordPress application, I’m constantly seeing “The gallery was not found” where the shortcode is being used.
I saw another post referencing the same error but it seemed to indicate a database problem, which I don’t believe to be the case here. Is there somewhere else I should be looking to resolve this issue? I’m wondering if it’s related to whatever database change the Cloudways domain management page does when I enter the domain (rather than leaving it deleted so it uses the default temp domain).
Any suggestions for where I should look?
