The front page is missing

  • I’m copying the graphics of a block theme that I no longer want and pasting into Twenty twentyfour. But the Frontpage is missing.

    We also have a Blog Home. No problem, the index will be called something else. But there is also the index and I don’t understand what difference there is.

    Hi @ildomandatore – I can definitely understand the confusion. Let me clarify – when the site is set to ‘Show Latest Posts’ then:

    • ‘Blog Home’ will be used to display as the front page of the site
    • ‘Index’ will be used as a fallback to list out your blog posts when another template (like archive) isn’t being used.

    This theme does not come with a front page template.
    You can create a new front page template – which is separate from the blog home and the index, by clicking on the + icon to add a new template.
