The “format” menu is gone in the new dashboard!

    I recently upgraded to 2.6 from 2.3, and I’m just getting used to the new dashboard.

    Unfortunately, since I’m not HTML/CSS savvy, I was upset when I saw that the “format” drop down menu in the visual editor in the previous dashboard was gone. This drop down menu allowed me to change certain text to be certain sized headers, and was very useful for me when I wanted to change a font size. How do I get this back again?

    Any help would be appreciated!

  • It sounds like you may need either edit your TinyMCE configuration, or even easier, install the TinyMCE Advanced plug-in.

    Once activated, you can customize all the visual editor menus/buttons through an intuitive drag-n-drop interface by navigating to Manage –> TinyMCE Advanced
