When your plugin is activated, it shows an admin notice that says:

    > “Paypal-Pro gateway requires SSL certificate for better security. The force SSL option is disabled on your site. Please ensure your server has a valid SSL certificate so you can enable the SSL option on your checkout page.”

The link for “force SSL option” points to

    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=woocommerce_settings&tab=general

I think the woocommerce_settings bit is wrong anyway but what’s supposed to be there that’s relevant to this plugin?

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further the link you mentioned.

    Kind regards

Thank you. WooCommerce made a change to this in a recent release. We have just updated the gateway addon plugin so it points to the new interface (the advanced settings menu).

Look for the “Secure checkout” checkbox. Enable that option and this warning will go away.

Hello, so I just ran into this issue and for some reason i can’t find the “Secure checkout” checkbox you are referring to

Ohh i found out the reason why. If you already have an SSL the checkbox won’t show up. So essentially you have to do this:

    “Hi there,

The “Force SSL” option will show up under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced PROVIDED the site is not loading via HTTPS already.

If the site does load over HTTPS, the “Force SSL” option will be hidden. If you’d like to toggle “Force SSL” regardless of whether the site is loading via HTTPS, then you’d need to go to https://yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/options.php and look for the woocommerce_force_ssl_checkout options and setting that to either yes or no (Remember to change https://yourwebsite.com with your actual domain).

Here’s what that looks like on my local testing installation:

    Force SSL using WooCommerce 3.4

Note: Using the options.php page is for advanced users only – it allows you to change settings directly on your database. In other words – make a backup ??”

Square is enabled, but the force SSL option is disabled; your checkout is not secured! Please enable SSL and ensure your server has a valid SSL certificate.

I am getting similar and I can not find a way to resolve this?
