The footer is shrinking to half the page?

  • fix the open tags
    especially the <ul> and the 2 <div>‘s at the end

    I can’t see them are they in the header.php or footer.php?

    the div’s are in footer.php

    you can click the line number beside the error and it will show you where

    I can’t figure this out everything looks good in the footer.php. It only affects the homepage the posts are fine. I checked validator
    # Error Line 79, Column 9: end tag for “ul” omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified.

    You may have neglected to close an element, or perhaps you meant to “self-close” an element, that is, ending it with “/>” instead of “>”.

    what is column 9? this is frustrating.
