I’m using the free version of Astra theme with a starter template. I deleted the images that came with the starter site and now receiving this error on GtMetrix:

    Avoid bad requests
The following requests are returning 404/410 responses. Either fix the broken links, or remove the references to the non-existent resources.

I’ve cleared the cache, tried the broken link plugin, searched previous threads, and still can’t find a solution. Is there any easy way to remove the broken links?
    BTW total beginner!

    Hi @weborwhat,
    ?
?Please go to the Customizer > Global > Colors > Base Colors and check once if there’s a broken image in the Background Image section you can just delete it.

Hello there, I’m experiencing the same issue except mine the url is “…../wp-content/cache/min/1/268a089b149ae76db8db092ef947597b.js’%20defer=’defer”. AT First, this appeared as a bad request on gtmetrix then a redirect chain. I changed the theme to generate press and the problem disappeared which lead me to conclude that the cause of the problem is within the free version of astra. Please help.

    Hi @ranks,

?It was just the cache. Try clearing your site cache and it should fix the issue.
    ?
    ?I hope it helps.

    ??Kind regards,
    ?Herman ??

Hello Team Brainstorm Force. I have cleared the site’s cache more than once and the recommendation to remove the redirect chain is still there!

    Hi @ranks,

If clearing the site cache didn’t solve the issue, please check for the server cache. ?Some hostings have a built-in cache feature, and usually, it is located in hosting cPanel (control panel) and may have some names like “Performance”, “Site speed”, “Caching”, “Cache”, etc. If you are not sure if your hosting has this feature or can’t find it, you need to contact your hosting support for help.

And also, if you are using CDN or third-party services for static files caching (for example CloudFlare service), you need to clear/flush cache in this service as well.

    I hope it will help.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
