    Hy guys. I was on the setting of the plugin and i notice this option:

    The following image sizes will be optimised by WP Smush

    Can i disable some of this checkbox? I saw on my ftp space that i have like 12 copy of a single image…maybe it’s too much no?

  • Hi there! The image sizes are created by your theme or other plugins for the different container sizes your theme has. Smush is detecting those sizes and allows you to choose to optimize all of the images that are being generated or just specific sizes.

    On a basic set up it will generate 5 or 6 images every time an image is uploaded. It really depends on your site.
