Hi, the plugin keeps saying that sentence even if there is the keyword into both of my forms :

“The focus keyword doesn’t appear in the first paragraph of the copy. Make sure the topic is clear immediately.”

Please review this knowledge base article: Warning: The focus keyword doesn’t appear in the first paragraph

Actually, the focus keyword is : “Luxurious Set Navy Blue Square” (as an example). It appears into the title, “first description” box and “Product short description” box. Check the picture below, please.

The format is set to Heading 4. A heading is different than a paragraph format and thus why the warning appears.

    Ok, thanks for the feedback.

May I ask you your opinion on this subject ?

Should I keep these descriptions with the H4 format ,or I should come back to the paragraph format?

Descriptions should be in a paragraph format. Headings should be used to create an outline of your page. Learn more about using headings here.

I am not sure if I should start a new thread as this one seems a bit old.

I am seeing the “The focus keyword doesn’t appear in the first paragraph of the copy” flag as well.

Now I understand that it is a false trigger, however looking at the code generated by the page I can’t see why it is generating the false trigger. The key phrase is indeed in the first paragraph of the code, so this isn’t a case of just a difference in the layout verses the code. Example page: Key Phrase is “Computer Repairs Reedy Creek”.

I thought it might have been a caching issue, but I am fairly certain Yoast SEO is doing the analysis locally.
