I have from the beginning with Woocommerce and the first order confirmation (prepayment) a for me not solvable problem, which should be very annoying for the customers!

In the mail that is sent by the system, it is the first order confirmation, is not the correct first name & surname of the customer as a salutation – no unfortunately the customer in this mail with:

    Hello test person,

Your order has been received and is now being processed. …

I can’t find an error anywhere, neither in WordPress, Woocommerce, nor in the database!

How do I get the incorrect salutation under control, so that the first and last name is in the salutation of the order confirmation?

    Many greetings
    Daniela

    Hi @hope13

    1. If you’re sure that this behavior is evident only in the first order confirmation (prepayment) notification while all other notifications are presenting the salutation normally, then you’ll want to double check the email template for that particular email at WooCommerce > Settings > Emails.

    2. Are you using any plugins for the emails? Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this thread as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
