the files won't copy

  • Hi, I spent the whole evening and morning trying to install WordPress but the problem is, that the files won’t copy form my disc to my server.

    I tried on two different computers. And it’s always the same files:
    taxonomy.php
    Text directory
    theme-compat directory

    So, what’s up? I’ve installed many WPs in my life – also on the same server – and I never had such problems.

    Any ideas?

  • What exactly do you mean “wont copy” – what error message are you getting?

    Hi, no message. Just “there was an error while copying direcotry/file x”.
    I already contacted the server provider. They said that there might be some block on my server space – so that I can’t use the free space that is there. Well, if it’s true they will fix it on Monday. I’ll let you know.
