The Files Download as Picture It 9Files!

  • Don’t understand what is going on -there isn’t a zip file once downloading the files, just a directory with wp-content wp-admin wp-includes and wp-images; 90% of the files come up as Picture It! 9 files – I don’t think I have Winzip installed, but my PC doesn’t seem to recognis these files at all?

  • The files have a .php extension. PHP is the programming language the code is written in. Unfortunately, Microsoft decided to use the same file extension for the Picture It! files. The WordPress .php files are actually just text files, and can be opened with any text editor.
