"The filename /tmp/phpXXXXX is not readable" when importing

  • I am unable to import guests. I always get an error like this “The filename /tmp/phppX7Rfh is not readable” when importing the csv or xls file. I have exported the “sample” that is provided, update the guests, and import to no avail. I have even manually added people, and then exported the list, deleted the people in the plugin, and then tried to re-import that backup, but it still gives the error.

    anyone??? I am using wp 3.5, and have even reinstalled wordpress from scratch and tried the plugin without anything configured. I still get the same error…
