the file I receive shows garbled

    My website use contact form 7 for members submit their listing. The contact for allow members to upload a file (my site allow filetypes:doc|docx|pdf). But when I see the data with contact form DB, it shows garbled when I click the file.

    As you see in screenshot, the file I can read is “.docx” and “.pdf”. The other same file type without “.” shows garbled. Is the dot a problem? the files I can read have dot, file which shows garbled haven’t a dot.

    Please help me fixed this or I can’t read the file.

    CFDB handles all files the same, regardless of how they are named.

    Are the file contents actually garbled or when you open it or does your computer not open it in the correct program? Are you sure the file was OK before it was uploaded?
